As Cybernance’s Chief Administrative Officer, Ralph Hasson develops key corporate initiatives and programs where he manages relationships with the director and corporate governance communities throughout the country. Hasson is an expert on corporate governance. Previous to his work at Cybernance, Hasson led the launch of System Policy Office for the University of Texas System, which is recognized as a best practice model by leading compliance experts across the country. Prior to his work at the UT System Hasson helped build Chorda, the first enterprise conflict management-consulting firm into a nationally recognized organization. Hasson is a member of the Advisory Board of Broadway Bank-Austin Region and the Advisory Board of CareFlash, LLC. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas TriCities Chapter of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and was founding Chair of the chapter’s Austin Board of Advisors. Hasson’s new ideas on corporate governance and ethics oversight have been cited in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, also appearing in Harvard Business Review, Sloan Management Review and Directors Monthly. He is co-author of Controlling the Costs of Conflict: How to Design a System for Your Organization (San Francisco: Jossey-Bass, 1998). He is a graduate of the University of Texas (BA, JD), and Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government (MPA).
