Dr. Mary Pat Moyer is founder, CEO and CSO of INCELL Corporation (1993), a biomedical scientist, entrepreneur, and community activist for biotechnology business and education. For over 30 years, her company, INCELL, has been manufacturing, selling and developing biomedical products for clinical use, including devices and biologicals. INCELL is focused on personalized medicine innovations in her areas of expertise: regenerative medicine, stem cells, cancer, and microbiology. INCELL also trains people to do manufacturing.  She leads INCELL’s collaborations and new product pipeline, e.g., adult stem cell banking and applications; human tumor cell collection, culture and therapeutic options for cancer patients; non-needle vaccines (e.g., HIV, influenza, smallpox, biodefense); and more. She has pioneered technologies relevant to human stem cells and collaborative research programs with national and international scientists to develop new ways to prevent, treat and diagnose disease.

She is an elected fellow of the American Academy for Microbiology; consults for national and international government agencies, universities and industry; has numerous scientific publications including a book, Colon Cancer Cells; is President of San Antonio Life Science Association (SALSA); and co-founded several for-profit and non-profit entities. Her leadership, biomedical, and business recognition or awards include: E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year, international Athena Award, Women of Voice and Vision, Healthcare Hero, Breaking the Glass Ceiling, Small Business Leadership, Alamo Workforce Leadership Innovation award, and one of the Top Ten Texas CEOs in Life Sciences. She is also CEO and Technical Advisor for the incubator accelerator TEKSA Innovations Corp. which assists life science start-up companies.

Recent achievements include FDA approval of INCELL’s clinical studies of double cell therapies to treat ALS (now in progress). Other new therapies are in development, new vaccines developed and manufactured.
