Bio
Born and raised in Jamshedpur, in the state of Jharkhand in India, I had always wanted to understand society and how it is shaped by policies and rules, from a macroeconomic standpoint.
Founder of Dialogue With Manhar, with the objective, through this platform, to be able to identify appropriate, and adequate, research ideas and implications of those ideas in terms of macroeconomic challenges facing the AEs and EMEs. The transcripts of the dialogues are maintained here.
Also, the CEO & Founder of Academy for Data Sciences. An educational institute, headquartered in Chandigarh, in the business of providing technical skills to students. Working on a book titled ‘Data Sciences and Critical Thinking: How, and Why, Econometrics is, both, Data Sciences and Application of Critical Thinking Abilities’.
Research interests are examining the empirics of, both, business cycle theories and growth theories for both AEs and EMEs. Within growth theories, my research interest, in particular, is understanding the empirical contribution of human capital to growth of both AEs and EMEs. My objective is to link the evidence to the labour market outcomes. Also interested in analysing the institutional structures, from a macroeconomic standpoint, that underpin the wealth generation process in a free-market capitalist economy, and also the Chinese economy, and those institutional structures that link to distribution of wealth to the agents in society.
